In Splits and Stretch, we guide you through a series of specially curated stretches designed to improve your range of motion and flexibility, with a particular emphasis on mastering the art of the splits and pole tricks. Whether you’re a beginner working towards your first split or looking to deepen your existing flexibility, our class is open to all levels.

Meet Nicola Thomas, the visionary woman behind this enchanting space. With years of pole dance experience and coaching expertise, Nicola is a true maven in the art of pole dance.

Having embarked on her pole dance journey over a decade ago, Nicola has honed her skills and deepened her passion for pole. Her dedication and commitment to the craft have allowed her to master a diverse range of pole dance styles.

Nicola's true joy lies in sharing her knowledge and empowering others to discover their own potential through pole dance. With years of coaching experience under her belt, Nicola has become an exceptional mentor, guiding countless women on their own transformative journeys. Her warm and encouraging nature creates a safe and inclusive environment where every individual is celebrated for their uniqueness.

Meet Naomi. Naomi has been teaching both Pole & Stretch Classes at Zero Gravity since the studio opened in 2018. With an eye for detail & an energetic approach to teaching, you can be sure to get a fantastic workout & excellent coaching in one of her classes. Naomi is experienced in all aspects of Pole Fitness & is eager to share that with all of her students.

Meet Jenny. With a Ballet background Instructor Jenny brings a fresh take to her Pole Fitness Classes. Helping her students improve strength, flexibility & posture! Jenny tailors her class plans to suit the needs & abilities of each of her students leaving students feeling challenged & supported!

Nicole

Meet Nicole. The fearless & skillfull pocket rocket of the team. With strength & flexibility skills at the highest level you can be sure to be trying a variety of of exciting challenges in Nicole’s Classes. In addition to teaching Pole & Stretch classes, Nicole is Zero Gravity’s Head instructor for our Handstand & Forearm Class.

Becky

ntroducing you to Instructor Becky. Becky teaches a variety of classes at Zero Gravity including Pole Fitness & Splits & Stretch Classes. In Becky’s personal time she has a love of rock music & has combined this with her pole passion & runs ‘Rock n Pole’ Workshops regularly at the studio! In these workshops Becky teaches fun & challenging pole routines to some truly iconic songs!

Scarlett

Introducing you to Scarlett. Scarlett works Full Time at Zero Gravity & teaches a mix of classes including Pole Fitness, Splits & Stretch & 121 Classes. In addition to this Scarlett Is Zero Gravity's Exotic Pole Dance Instructor. Scarlett is always creating new routines designed to get you stepping out of your comfort zone & welcome you into the 'Sexier side of pole'.

Annabelle

At Zero Gravity, Annabelle's mission is to help women harness the power of pole dance as a tool for self-confidence. She firmly believes that through the beauty of movement, women can discover their inner strength, break free from limitations, and embrace their authentic selves. Annabelle herself has found confidence like never before throughout her pole journey & enjoys being able to help her students with that process! As a very skilled Pole Dancer herself, you can be sure to be receiving top quality lessons with Instructor Annabelle.

With a passion for all aspects of Pole you won’t be surprised to hear that you will find her not only teaching Pole & Stretch Classes, but also delivering expert coaching in 121 sessions. Teaching classes at Zero Gravity for Claire is not just a job but a passion. Claire meticulously plans her classes with her students wants & needs being considered every step of the way! With varied & exciting class plans designed to keep you on your toes you never know what will be coming next but you can be sure that it will be a top class experience whilst learning things you never thought possible!

Meet Christie. A fantastic pole dancer herself, Christie has been teaching Pole fitness classes at Zero Gravity since 2019. Christie spends her free time creating interesting shapes & challenges that she can bring to classes and share with her many students. With new challenges every week, you will be sure to learn a wide variety of fantastic Pole tricks in Christie’s classes.

Where Are You Based?

Pear mill, Stockport, SK6 2BP. This is near British Gas & Woodbank Park 👌🏻 Some may know it as the same Mill as the adidas factory!

How Much Does It Cost?

Pole classes are £10, splits & stretch classes are £8.50 as part of a course – usually 4-6 weeks 🥰

What Do I Need To Wear?

Ideally you want to wear shorts on your lower half, the skin can help you to grip the pole. However to start with you can wear leggings or tracksuit bottoms if you feel more comfortable 👌🏻

Who Can Do This?

We currently have a mix of ages in our adult classes, we even have 2 ladies in their 70s. Non in their 80s but never say never 😂👌🏻 It is an inclusive studio where all body shapes & sizes are welcome 🤗

When Are Classes?

🤗 WHEN ARE CLASSES? We have beginners classes 7 days a week split over daytimes, evenings & weekends! Something to suit everyone 💃🏼

How Long Are Classes

HOW LONG ARE CLASSES? Every class on our timetable is 50 minutes 👏🏻

DOES IT MATTER IF I HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE?

Hell No, that’s what beginners classes are for 🤩 We will guide you through everything step by step 🙂 HOW MANY CLASSES DO PEOPLE ATTEND EACH WEEK? That is totally up to you?! Most people start with 1 or 2. Students that have been coming to classes for a while usually attend between 1-4 times per week 💃🏼
